Orange County is known for its insanely beautiful beaches, and Newport Beach does not fail to deliver in that category. Corona Del Mar is a world-famous beach with gorgeous sunsets and coves filled with rock pools for kids to play in. At West Jetty View Park, residents love to watch the incoming yachts and witness surfers attempt to conquer the infamous “Wedge” wave. During the holidays, Newport’s Christmas Boat Parade is a huge attraction that draws crowds from all over the Orange County area. You can watch the parade from vantage points along Newport Bay or from the Balboa Bay Club’s deck.

To get your fix of the great outdoors, head to the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve, a 135-acre park that offers trails for hiking and biking. You could also check out Bonita Canyon Sports Park, a recreational park that hosts youth sporting events.

Many young professionals in the area join Elite OC, Orange County’s premier networking society, to connect and volunteer in the community.

Another option is to take a boat charter out on the Pacific for some excellent sportfishing opportunities or sunset dinner cruises.
